Rolando Andrade

Co Founder

C.E.O. of Andrade Inc., C.E.O. of Jones Andrade Boyd Corporation and the President of the Board of Approachable Foster Care Agency.  Andrade Inc. comprises four facilities that care for the chronic mentally ill.

I worked for over 20 years as a Deputy Public Conservator and Mental health Case Manager as well as president of the Stanislaus County S.E.I.U.  For the past 30 years my focus has been providing services to the chronic mentally ill whether it be advocating for the release from long term locked facilities for a client to the placement in community, to assisting in obtaining the correct medication and encouraging medication compliance. It has been my experience that not all clients want the help that is needed, but knowing that they require assistance in obtaining services can lead to stable placement and ensure their basic needs are met.

I was born in a small poor southern town in Texas but spent the next 17 years of my life in Chicago Illinois. From there I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana and then transferred to PanAmerica University in Edinburg Tx. I met my wife, Maria and have been happily married for the last 47 years. I have two children, Jaime and Marissa who have followed in my footsteps.  I am a long time racquetball player, avid reader and enjoy Korean dramas. When I have spare time I enjoy traveling with my family.

“Those of us that have chosen to serve others do so because we have been Chosen.”

C.F.O / Administrator / Facility Manager / Member of the Approachable Foster Care Agency

Handles the day to day operations, oversees all employees at 3 different locations, H.R. Payroll, and renewing annual contracts.

I have over 25 years experience in management. I specialized in rebuilding struggling departments and exceeding the annual revenue.

I believe in working smarter not harder with my Philosophy being “measure twice and only cut once.”

I have two amazing children, oldest is our Social Worker and youngest is a Supervisor for one of our facilities.  I have been blessed with two beautiful grandkids and two awesome nephews.  I love to BBQ for my family and friends, go to concerts (Alt-Music), travel to Dallas Tx. to watch America’s team, THE DALLAS COWBOYS and I love, love to go to Vegas.

Johanna West

Administrator

After working in acute care, long term care, and assisted living for many years I decided to round out my nursing career in mental health. This is an interesting learning experience and I do enjoy it.

When I’m not at work I have a couple of small dogs and lots and lots of gardening to do.

I am blessed with one son (who wanted to grow up to be Spiderman) and three amazing grandchildren.

Taylor Hernandez

Social Worker

As the Social Worker for Andrade Inc. I work closely with the different counties we serve and their case workers to find these clients a stable home where they can thrive. Once a client is accepted into the Andrade Inc. family, I assist the resident with the transition into our care; performing the intake which includes giving them a tour of their new home, reviewing the house rules with them, introducing them to their peers and staff, and giving them the opportunity to see all that we have to offer. I check in with our residents, giving them individualized care and someone to voice any concerns to in a safe environment. Moreover, it’s important to collaborate with a residents agency when they’re struggling in order to ensure the resident is receiving all the support they need to succeed.

I have 8 years of experience in the Mental Health field. Prior to finishing my degree at California State University, Sacramento and becoming the Social Worker of Andrade Inc. I was a Direct Care Provider at our very own Casa de Luz. I went on to work at all three of our facilities, gradually moving from one position to the next until I completed all positions under management.

I value compassion, empathy, and positive communication. These values guide my work and the environment within the Andrade Inc. family. I strive to ensure our residents are given every opportunity to be successful under our care.

Outside of work I am very close to my family and friends and enjoy spending time with them, usually at a home BBQ. I’m a mom of one crazy toddler who keeps me pretty busy but I love to read, watch dramas on TV, and am always counting down until summer when I can hit the water.

Theresa Salcido

Resident Care Coordinator

My position is a liaison between the residents and administration as well as between the residents and their case managers/conservators.  My primary duty is facilitating groups onsite and outings into the community to enrich the lives or our residents. I am always available for our residents to speak with regarding their problems or concerns.

I have been working in Mental Health for the last 26 years. I began as an entry level Mental Health Worker for Fresno County. From there I was promoted to a Community Mental Health Specialist, and then a Deputy Conservator. I also have 10 years experience working with adults with Developmental Disabilities.

I love this line of work, and feel very blessed to be able to do what I love, and help a population that often goes unnoticed.  I’ve always felt working with people disadvantaged or less fortunate than myself is a privilege.

My hobbies are reading, astronomy, learning about architecture, (I’m a huge fan of Frank Lloyd Wright), studying ancient cultures such as the Mayans and Incas. I also enjoy traveling and animals and I’m the proud mother of an Olde English Bulldog.
